rev:text	Just call me the Outbreak Monkey. I'm spreading Influenza A like a boss. After 'not feeling well" prior to a weekend trip to Palm Springs, all my friends got sick as hell. Then came the first flu diagnosis. Uh oh. I never get sick (famous last words) and having no GP doc, I called this place up. They initially said could get a 6 pm apt (this was at 1 pm). They told me to come on in and they could see me after I explained I think I may have the flu and I've spread it. I go in only to realize I forgot my insurance card. Hearing what I sound like (and look like), the front desk employee graciously calls my insurance for the information after finding out who I was under/my employee; rather than make me go back home to get it. I pop back and visit the hysterical staff. After explaining how sick my friends are and that "I'm really not as bad as them" and that I "don't have the flu because I got a flu shot and they didn't"; they gave me a flu test. The staff were super friendly and engaging and in fact teased me to not be so confident about that comment about not getting flu shots and that it could come back to haunt me. 10 minutes later it did: Influenza A. The very helpful doctor laughed at my anger and paranoia about going back home to Savannah next week (we all have prioritites). He then explained why I don't feel next to death like those I infected: yay, for flu shots! and assured me that if I take my Tamiflu and lay low that I would be fine very shortly. He also gave me some narcotic laced cough meds so I could sleep. Quick service, very friendly staff. If you have to get told you are the OUtbreak Monkey infecting everyone in her path... not a bad place to do so.
