| - Completely disappointed after giving them a second chance!!!!I After reading Yelp reviews I had been here few months back, but was not happy and hence found another temporary place. After moving close this salon, I thought I will give it one more try and set an appt with Juliana. I was told that Juliana who was busy so I asked if Nick's wife could do my nails since she worked on my nails the last time I was there. BIG MISTAKE!!! Explained that I wanted hard gel fill because that is what I have. I told her that I would like to try IBD again and think it will work this time, because the acrylic tips were off and only my natural nails were there. I told her I gel polish don't work on my brittle nails. She was very reluctant to use anything on my nails because she said "we tried last time and it did not work" and I explained why it may work this time and that I would like to try IBD again. She was persistent that it would not work and was getting quite irritated and kept telling me to go back to the previous salon, By now she had already filed the color off and I had no choice but to get nails done there. Finally, she agreed to do my nails and when I saw the powder I asked her if it was acrylic fill and she said yes," that is the only thing that will work!!"I told her I did not want acrylic and want to stay with gel and she seemed to disregard my opinion and kept repeating to do acrylics and THAT WAS THE ONLY THING SHE WILL DO OR GO BACK TO THE OTHER SALON!!!! I would have walked off but by now she had filed off my nails and I had already wasted half an hour going back and forth with this, so finally against my wishes, I went with acrylics. She agreed to do a gel coat on the top and said most of her customers get this done. She showed me the color rings and I picked one. When I went to pay, she said it was $35.00, when I remember she said $25.00 for fill and I thought gel is another $5.00. I didn't say anything and gave her my card. I told her to ring it as debit , which I never do, but I thought it would be easy to add the tip. When she gave the receipt I saw there was no place to add the tip and on asking she rudely said, "You should have told me before I rang up, now I cannot do anything"!! I could not believe her attitude!! Not only did I give them a second chance, I also very reluctantly agreed to go with the acrylic fills even though I wanted to stay with gel. I certainly think it was my mistake to give them a second chance. I will never go back, specially after how I was treated there by her. If a customer is giving you another chance you would think they would go out of their way to do a great job this time, but it was like she didn't care. After this service I shouldn't have left her any tip!!!!!!
