A real disappointment. I decided to use the steam room before my massage and got burned...literally. I sat down and the heat instantly burned the inside of my nose. I ran out and the door handle was so hot it burned my hand. I went to tell the receptionist so they would put a sign on the door so no'one else would get injured. 10 minutes went by and I again reminded her to put a sign on the door. She stated she told the manager and maintenance was on there way. There was no apology or concern for my well being. I am sure they didn't want to address it because of liability. However, I am not sue happy and just wanted good customer service. I told my massage therapist about the incident on our way to the massage room. She said that it was the hotel's responsibility not the spa's. Paris hotel and Mandara spa will never get my future business. How hard is it to say you are sorry?
