| - I am pretty blown away at some of the reviews for this dealership, and I am pretty sure all of the bad ones are off base. My family and I recently moved here from MI, where cars are a big deal and dealerships really cater to customers. That said, Arizona is a much different market overall for vehicles.
My brother was the first one that had a lease expiring and had gone three dealerships prior to Van Chevrolet. He was waiting for a vehicle to arrive at a different dealership at the time. Upon arrival, he was promptly greeted by a Van Chevrolet employee and he explained that he had a pending deal and he was just looking. After about five minutes of looking, one of the sales managers, Drew, came out to introduce himself. He offered to help in any way he could, and I did not feel any pressure from him and the experience was pleasant. After asking a few questions, I felt like it was possibly a better decision to seek out a vehicle at Van Chevrolet instead.
Van Chevrolet has a car coming in the following week, and it happened to be the same car I was purchasing at the other dealership. Upon discussing the numbers, the same car was a better value at this dealership. I signed the paperwork that evening, when I walked into the finance department, the numbers were exactly what we discussed and I was happy. The delivery came in a week later, and at the time it arrived they made me feel very appreciated and I knew I made the right decision to purchase from Van Chevrolet.
Since this purchase, my whole family has purchased their vehicles from Van Chevrolet. I personally leased my car from Van Chevrolet. I originally started out wanting a Cadillac, I was trading in my current Cadillac and really had my heart set on a new one. My brother was really pushing me into getting a car at Van Chevrolet, because he was really happy with his experience. Eventually the wonderful staff at Van Chevrolet, Brian Hall, Matt (general sales manager), and even down to the lovely lady in the Human Resources department (she loves my puppy) won me over with their expertise and great prices up front and no pressure. I drove a Camaro SS 2013 and ended up leasing it, and loved it. I love this car and I am shocked I do, since I wanted a Cadillac so bad. The car is very exciting. My lease will be ending this year, and I will be making my next purchase at Van Chevrolet once again.
In addition to my brother and myself purchasing cars at Van, my sister in law just leased her second Camaro from Van Chevrolet last week. She ordered the 2014 Camaro SS in the limited edition pink color, and it was all a surprise to her when she took delivery. Brian, Len and my brother all worked together to prep the car, put custom wheels on the car, Brian even wrapped the hood in matte black for her, and to top it all off, she took a "showroom delivery". Right at the end of this, the owner of the dealership, Chuck, introduced himself, thanked me for my business and I was completely blown away. I have never had the opportunity to meet an owner of a huge dealership, not only that, but he knew exactly who I was. This is an owner that is clearly in touch with the day to day operations, which is rare to find these days.
The service here is impeccable and the staff is so friendly, they are all like family now. Hands down, if you want the BEST experience in buying or leasing your next car, I highly recommend that you stop into Van Chevrolet and meet with any one of the sales people, and I promise that you will walk away with the warm and fuzzy feeling that we did.
