| - I moved in today and I'm not even comfortable staying in my apartment. I'm really upset about this. I have an upgraded apartment, and to my astonishment neither my living room nor my bedroom have lighting. I am not pleased about this at all. This is a huge safety issue. I'm not even staying in my apartment tonight because of it. If I cannot walk in and around my apartment without being able to be aware of my surroundings, I have no desire to stay there anymore. I'm going to talk to them about this in the morning. If they can't put lighting in for me, I'm pretty much willing to say that it's a deal breaker! I'm actually quite angry that I should even have to ask to have a light in my living room and bedroom in the first place. I'll update my review if management will install the new lighting, however, until then they are getting a one star rating from me...
Oh, that's not to mention the 'upgraded' cabinets which are, to be quite honest, pretty terrible. I can't even open a drawer without it falling out because they are not secured to the track. That, and my light switch is missing a cover, my shower rod is messed up, there are ants on my floors, there are crumbs in my cabinets, my patio carpet is disgusting, the utility closet in the patio has a light... that does not work because they screwed it up. AND my window does not close because it is stuck open. All of these things, are forgivable however if management is able to fix them... the lighting though, it better get fixed quickly or management is going to have one very angry and annoying resident on their hands. I'm paying nearly 750 dollars to live in this apartment. I would happily go elsewhere so long as it means I can have decent lighting.
I really want to like this place, but if they don't install lighting in my living room and bedroom/ fix the other problems in a timely manner, that is not going to happen.
I will gladly update my rating in a positive manner just as soon as these issues are resolved!
