  • Urban Cookies is a classic bakeshop that offers your go-to baked goods to really satisfy that sweet craving you've been having because of that weird low carb diet thing you've been on (what is life when you add a diet to the mix?). Some items include cookies, cupcakes, and breads. What I find kind of funny about this place is that they don't really advertise that they make donuts... When their donuts are delicious? If you know me, you probably know that I am somewhat of a donut connoisseur, and Urban Cookies has got it right, dammit! When I visited on Easter Sunday, I tried four different flavors: Blood Orange & Cacao, German Chocolate (I swear, it's a brownie), Cinnamon & Sugar and Coconut Pomegranate. My favorites out of these would be the German Chocolate, which was super rich and moist and the Coconut Pomegranate, which is probably one of my picks because it is so unique. One thing that I would change about the donuts would be to incorporate some other kinds of donut consistencies. All of the donuts had a cake-like texture and it would be a little refreshing to have some squishies in there. Along with the donuts we decided to give the cupcakes a shot, choosing the Orange Blossom, Carrot Cake, Brown Velvet, and the seasonal Easter cupcake, the Bird's Nest (Coconut). My favorite out of these would be the Carrot Cake, which was super moist and the frosting was PERFECT & the Brown Velvet, which is Red Velvet without the dye. Delicious. The little chocolate pieces at the top give it the perfect touch! I feel like the Easter Cupcake was definitely missing something or lacking flavor.. But it could just be me. $$$- I will say that one of the things you need to watch out for would be the price, our total came out to $40 for four cupcakes and four donuts! -Parking behind the building -Happy Hour Pricing available: Sunday 1PM-4PM & Monday 3PM-6PM: 50% off of cookies and cupcakes -Seating available inside
