| - Unbelievable how incompetent these people are! We were involved in a car accident today (not our fault). We had to be at the airport 4 hours after the accident. We are going to be out of town for 10 days. We called shortly after the accident to try to get our truck released to the driver that would be bringing it to the collision center so we could get to the airport. We spoke with Anthony the first time. We informed him we needed to meet them to release the car to the driver that would be taking the car to the place it was being repaired. He told us he would send a driver to meet us immediately and the driver would call on the way. We waisted an hour waiting on the driver, called back and Anthony said he "couldn't reach us".....for no good reason. He again said he would send a driver and the driver would call when he is on the way. We waited another 30 minutes with no phone call. We then called back and got Deloris on the phone. She was incredibly rude. For some reason she assumed we didn't have our insurance information so that the truck could be released to us. We asked to speak with someone else and she refused, so we called back again and got Alman on the phone. He again had absolutely no sense of urgency about the fact that we have been dealing with this for hours and we're going to miss a flight. He proceeded to put us on hold as long as it took for us to drive to the Tempe tow yard from Ahwatukee. Once we got there our driver that is taking our truck to be repaired had been waiting for over an hour. The tow driver for All City proceeded to take someone ahead of us who had been waiting less time than our driver. We are still standing here praying that we can get this done in the next 10 minutes and make our flight. If you have an option DO NOT USE THIS COMANY. We didn't know any better after the accident. This is the company who has a contract w/ the Phoenix PD.
Update. This got even worse. The tow truck driver, Josh, ended up being the rudest employee we dealt with. He knew we were in a hurry and needed to be at he airport and moved at a snails pace getting the tuck from the tow yard. After pulling it out he refused to release it to us or to give my friends ID back to him. He decided that if nothing else, he had to be to the airport, so he reached through the tow truck window and tried to take his ID off of the dash. The driver got out of his truck, pushed my friend and then called the police stating that he was assaulted. His own manager was on speaker phone telling him to cool it and drop the truck, but Josh was just trying to be a jerk at that point. The police came quickly and questioned everyone, including the driver who was waiting to take our truck. The police quickly realized that this was ridiculous and ordered Josh to drop the truck and give his ID back and they told us to go as quick as we could to the airport. We were only 1 exit from the airport, but now only had 50 min left before the flight. Luckily we were checked in and only had carry on luggage. Somehow we made it. Barely.
Horrible, horrible company. It wasn't our fault we got into a car accident and we were being treated like someone who had their car towed for impound or something. Truly an unbelievably horrible experience.
