Well, what can I say? I generally don't wait till the last minute to buy my Mom her beloved See's Candies, but I did this Easter. I got lucky to snag a one pound box before they ran out. This is the store I always shop at as it is close to home. The service is mediocre at best. The sales ladies don't appear to be happy at work but they are not rude. I walk in and find my candies and check out and I am out the door within about five minutes.
See's Candies have been around for as long as I can remember. My favorites are the bordeaux and molasses chips (both dark and milk chocolate). They have a pecan turtle but there is another candy company here in town who has them beat in terms of taste and size. There candies happen to be my Mom's favorite so I will continue to keep her stocked up for special occasions. You can't go wrong in terms of pricing, pretty standard at $20 box for a one pound box of assorted chocolates. They are a safe bet in this gambling town we call home!
