| - It's sort of hard for me to review Earth Fare because I don't know that I will be back there since I don't really require the stuff they have which I can't get at Trader Joe's. It's Whole Foods, really. It *is* expensive, comparatively speaking, but you get what you pay for so if you require organic or local or non-factory then boom, there you go.
Big cheese counter with knowledgable staff, very nicely priced wine selection with a super cool (heh) immersion circulator wine chiller, good looking produce, nice deli case with pre-made salads, limited salad bar for $7.99/lb (go to Heinen's instead), TONS of gluten-free options, a lovely juice bar (beet juice!), house-made peanut/almond butters, fresh pasta by the pound, etc. You can pretty much get whatever you need here for your fancy hippie dinner party.
But for me... well... maybe discount groceries are helping to kill the economy, but if I want a pound of say, cashews, am I going to pay $7 or $14? Exactly.
