I love the location of Le Gourmand. I visit it every time I have a still-life drawing across the street at 401 Richmond to stock up on a fancy cake and pulled coffee before I head into class. Their pastries are mouth-watering, with crispy shells and light centers, very much how real French pastries ought to be by law. Although their pricing is on average 50 cents more than what you'd pay at Clafouti or Nadege, their location makes them special. You won't be able to find a tastier, crispier croissant in the entire neighborhood.
