  • I know it's an airport chain serving "quick" eats, but the service and food at this Ruby's Diner branch sucks (for the lack of a better term) to the highest degree. The line moved very fast, which I commend given how busy it gets just before lunch. There are chilled drinks on the shelves next to you in line, while a selection of salads or chips could also be picked up as you make your way to the cash register. While that was all fine and dandy, everything turned sour when I ended up waiting forty five minutes for an incredibly bland and bare bones chicken sandwich with only two people in front of me during lunch...FORTY FIVE MINUTES. "Ruby's Chick," the name of the sandwich, has the following: Two buns, a grilled chicken patty, a couple slices of lettuce, and an oh-so beautiful slice of tomato; no sauce, no seasoning, nada. Zero. Zilch. Nanimo. Wala. If I were you, order something else. Better yet, order what is popular. The food will probably be out the window faster.
