  • I used to go here with my friends and family all the time and within the last year it has really gone down hill. Tonight my two friends and I went to get pedicures and I am very disappointed. First, I sat down and my water was lukewarm warm. I asked for it to be warmer and the man turned it on hot for a minute or two until the tub was practically overflowing instead of just refilling the tub with water. Even after filling it with "hot" water, it was lukewarm. The woman that did my pedicure was terrible. She cut my toe by my cuticle to the point where it was bleeding and preceded to cut until I finally told her that it hurt. She cut my toe nails VERY short. The pedicure is supposed to come with a massage and my massage was simply the woman lathering on some lotion and just running her hands up and down my calves. There was absolutely no pressure and no foot massage. The same was with the hot stone massage. The woman finally started to paint my toes and she did not paint the sides of my toe nails on 6 of my toes. This was frustrating because the entire reason you pay for a pedicure is to get your ENTIRE nail painted, not paint only the tops and leave the sides bare. I noticed that the sides were bare and asked for one more coat to be done to get the sides of my nails and the woman informed me that she had already done two coats and I didn't need a third. I proceeded to ask for a third coat to which she sat down and she begrudgingly did a third coat. She still missed a toe so I pointed it out and she covered the spot I told her. Herbal Nail Bar closes at 7. Our pedicures were done and we were told by one of the ladies at the establishment to sit at the front and put our toes under the light. After two minutes all of the employees started gathering by the register and just stared at us essentially waiting for us to leave even though it was only 6:45. When we got up to pay, each of the employees who had done our nails waited at the register for their tips which I thought was extremely rude. Because of my experience tonight, my family, my friends, and I will probably not be returning to this place for a pedicure. There are plenty of other places that will give me a great pedicure, will not be rude to me, and will give me a good massage for $25. I do not recommend this place at all and suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
