| - Robbie Fox's is a very cool place. I don't think I've been here before 6pm ever, but I have been here at least 10 times for various reasons (grabbing food, having a class, beer events, live music) and I always have a good time.
The atmosphere if the restaurant is very... classy. Great architecture and atmosphere inside which carries into the exterior fascia of the restaurant (it is next to a cigar shop). The one time I had food, it was pretty good, but I'm also saying that because it was free for a Deschutes Brewery event.
During the late night, this place gets crazy. There is usually a band or DJ (insert How I Met Your Mother reference) outside in their large patio area and you can expect a long line to get in--sometimes the line will stretch down towards Canteen. Large beer selection and they have a full bar indoors and out (and if it's a busy night, they'll have beer tub girls around other parts of the restaurant).
I need to stress again how HUGE the patio is. As great as the atmosphere is inside, the patio is so big and a fun experience in itself. You get great views of other Mill Avenue buildings, including the West 6th towers. It's easy to carry a conversation outside even when music is playing, so definitely come by with a group of friends.
