rev:text	One of the most beautiful resorts in the area. We came here for thanksgiving with my wife and two kids from Los Angeles. We were excited to come and happy to upgrade to a $450 a night room for a little extra space / better view. We travel often and love to upgrade to the finer things. Like I said, the resort is flat out gorgeous. The pool area is like nothing I have ever seen - world class family fun at its best with a water slide. My critiques: - for the price we paid I would expect a chair that is not falling apart. The thing was peeling and left plastic bits all over my wife's black dress. - there was trash all over our deck at check in, including sugar packets, styrofoam peanuts, paper, and dried ketchup marks. - the room service and food options are limited. Just weird. Who orders a chicken sandwich that comes with rice? No pizza, yet they have an Italian restaurant. No wings. Not asking for much, but some basics that appeal to the family crowd (the for kids by kids menu was a joke). Options were so limited that we left the resort to find alternatives for every meal. - we had access to the Regency club. This was the only gem of the place. More than 3/4 of the lounge is listed as no kids / adults only though. Why not open the place up vs punish your guests with kids (eg the ones who would normally come with their deep pockets to spend here). Additionally, the lunch refreshments were limited to dried apricots and dirty soda cans. Breakfast was good. Overall, we made due and had a good time. My only advice: if you are used to nicer resorts and are looking to please your family, you might think about other places. If you came here as a couple it would be perfect.
