3 1/2 stars. Been here couple times last two years. It's a good location and since the Mirage doesn't have a "mall", being next to Caesars Forum Shops and across from the Venetian Shops is convenient for us shoppers.
Rooms: The rooms are fine, but was expecting a separate shower and soaking tub like many other casino hotel bathrooms. My other complaint was the room key seemed never to work and on my last visit, maintenance had to replace the battery for the door lock. Frustrating as heck.
The wifi here is just horrible. We should get a refund from the daily resort fee. Coming here for a convention in this hotel severely limits your work efforts.
Restaurants: Carnegie Deli. Only 24 hr place before Pantry opened late last year. Need to check it out Pantry when I am here next month. I think this location has better food than their NYC counterpart! Pastrami was just so good. Breakfast too.
Heritage Steak: I really wanted to love this place as much as I love Craftsteak at MGM Grand. It was good and gave it 4 stars. Just didn't blew me away compare to Craftsteak. Now I did hang out a lot at their Heritage Steak lounge bar. Great bartenders.
Cravings Buffet. Came here for dinner and all I ate was crab legs and roast beef/ prime rib. Yum. Bonus was beer/wine included with dinner. Negative was waiters don't refill your drinks for you. You have to go and get your own sodas, beer, wine. They only clear your plates.
BLT Burger. Can't go wrong eating here! Glad there is a Starbucks!
Rhumbar. I must have came on an off night as I got one of the worst outdoor service. Last time I'll be there. I'll go somewhere else where it is more welcoming. Too bad too with its nice outdoor area.
Beatles Love. Awesome show! Everyone should see it.
Dolphin Habitat and Secret Garden. Didn't realize how close you get to see the dolphins! Pool. Decent but rather small pool compare to other pools.
Will need to check out Terry Fator and maybe dine at Stack when I'm here next month for convention.
Please upgrade the wifi speed here!!!
