  • Without considering the aesthetics, the taste of its infamous black and purple soft serve in a charcoal cone was decent. So was the price of $6.50 including tax, keeping in mind that both the cone and top were big. The taste was a muted version of the regular vanilla soft serve, and I couldn't tell the difference between the two colours even. The texture was very smooth. As for the cone, it tasted like the regular sugar cone maybe slightly thicker but I couldn't taste any burnt charcoal aftertaste unlike my friends. The downside was that it melted super fast and the ice cream in the cone started leaking out from the cone as tiny droplets at first. By the end, it was really messy. They tried to use marshmallow fluff at the cone tip to slow it down but it wasn't much help and that part was so sweet. Aesthetics wise 10/10 - a matte black ice cream on top of an equally black cone in a simple, modern, clean soft serve store.
