We came here looking for couches and a recliner and we found a great set that we fell in love with. The salesman (which was the only pleasant part of going to this awful store) checked inventory and put it all together with warranty, tax, and delivery fees. My mom wanted to purchase it for us as a house warming gift so we gave her the print out they gave us and she went to the store to make the purchase. Thought it would be pretty easy and straight forward. Boy was I wrong! They began by telling her none of it was in stock to which they quickly changed their tune and said they did actually have it all in stock but yet they couldn't deliver it all together so she would have to make two separate purchases with separate taxes and delivery fees. Hmmmm sounds kind of weird to me. Luckily my mom has a back bone and stood her ground and they finally, after over an hour, let her purchase everything together. Oh but not until after they gave her a tough time for wanting to pay with check and telling her she needs to go get cash to make it easier for them. I felt so bad she had to put up with that and spend all of that time just trying to purchase something for us. We will NEVER step foot in that store again!!
UPDATE: they delivered our couches on a Friday when they were scheduled for delivery on a Saturday, mind you the couches were going to our new home which we were not at until the following day which is why it was scheduled for Saturday and not Friday. Then they proceeded to tell us it was our fault for not calling to make sure they had the right date. Are you kidding me?!! You're telling me I have to call to make sure you're going to do your job?? Ridiculous!! Finally after forever on the phone, they agreed to come back on Saturday to deliver. However, they only delivered the couches. They scheduled our recliner delivery for June 21 which is today and guess what?? They're closed so we will not be getting our recliner today and not sure when we will. Why they would schedule a delivery for a day they are closed is beyond me. I'm sure once we talk to them tomorrow they'll tell us it's our fault and we should've called to make sure the scheduled on day they were open since they obviously want their customers to do their jobs for them. I guess I shouldn't be surprised with how my experience has been with this store.
UPDATE: so we finally got ahold of them today about our delivery that was scheduled yesterday, a day that they were closed. They told us they don't know who scheduled it and tried to tell us we won't get our chair this week, we will get it whenever they have time to deliver it because it's not their fault someone scheduled a delivery on a day they were closed. Are you f***in kidding me?!! Excuse my language but it does not matter who scheduled it, it was scheduled by an employee at Living Spaces so regardless it is THEIR FAULT! I just couldn't believe the hoops we had to jump through just to get them to deliverer our chair by Saturday this week. They should have gone above and beyond to correct THEIR MISTAKE. I am so livid with this place at this point. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!!!
