I went through the Krispy Kreme drive thru this morning to get an assortment of a dozen donuts. The first ones I asked for were 3 powdered cake donuts; pretty simple and basic, right? I did not check my box until my boyfriend and I got out of the line (staff was rude and hurried us along), and when I checked, the 3 "powdered cake donuts" were blueberry filled powder donuts. We went back and I took the box inside and politely told them that I had asked for powdered cake donuts, and if I could just get something else instead. The girl, I believe her name was Gaby, was rude and said "we don't have powdered cake donuts at this store, she thought you meant blueberry filled" 1) how does 'powdered cake donut' sound like 'blueberry filled powdered donut' and 2) you need to inform customers if you don't have something. She gave me 3 glazed donuts instead and I said "thank you I'm sorry to be a pain" and she didn't acknowledge that at all and said "have a nice day" and walked away. I have never written a yelp review before, but their service today compelled me to.
