  • Quick review on floating itself: I have been floating for years; it has helped my anxiety, sleep, and joint pain more than any other therapy I've tried. I absolutely recommend it. If you like it the first time, go a few more; chances are you will be hooked as well. The benefits come from both the absorption of magnesium, the lack of any pressure points, and the sensory deprivation. Also, while I personally turn off the lights, forgo the music, and close the lid on the pod (yes True Rest uses the pods), you do not have to. For those of you who think you will be claustrophobic, the room is large, and if you leave the lid open it's just like a tub. Some call me "obsessed" with floating. I wouldn't say obsessed, but it is my therapy of choice, and I am a seasoned floater. At one time I was a member of the Gilbert, AZ True Rest location, and leaving was oh so hard to do! They were wonderful there, so when the much awaited Cleveland location was no longer listed as "coming soon", but finally OPEN, I cried actual tears, and booked a float for two hours later. I don't live in Cleveland, but I signed up for a membership again the second I walked in. I am here every month or two, and you can save up or share floats, so the incentive is there. As a member you only pay about $50 for a float. I have been to multiple True Rest locations, and am always impressed with their cleanliness, and design. Each location is decorated individually, and this is probably my favorite True Rest thus far terms of decor. I enjoyed their oasis (relaxing? Post float?) room mostly because they have this trippy water fall that is oh so calming. This location has a couple little Cleveland, and Ohio touches in their artwork which I find charming (and warms my Cleveland heart). - For floating newbies: give it a try! - For seasoned floaters who have gone to other TrueRest locations, it's as good as any other, and better than some. - For those who have never been to a TrueRest, I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the pricing, and will love the space. - For those who floated at the only other nearby float tanks, nix that experience from your mind, and head over here.
