  • We came here for dinner as there was a write up about how great this place is. For all the hype, we felt this place was over rated. Our server was very nice, but the food didn't meet our expectations, and it was a bit more expensive than other places that have similar menus. We had a few apps, the goat cheese salad, escargots, foie grois, and french onion soup. The apps were pretty good. The bread was also great here. It just took a while to get it. The entrees did take a long time to get served, and were not as great as we expected. We got the lamb shank, beef tartar and steak frites. The beef tartar was just ok, it had a runny egg on it which is great, but it runs all over the place. The steak looked like it was cook perfectly, but it was tough to eat (ordered medium rare). We weren't happy especially having similar dishes at L'Express the night before. We had a single profiterole for dessert which was great. Overall, not worth the hype.
