Got free tickets to this show. About what I expected. As other reviewers pointed out, his humor is quite dated. If you're under 35 or so, you might be a tad perplexed.
Most of his singing and impressions were quite good, however there were a few things that I didn't care for:
-His 10 minute reenactment of the dialogue between Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn from "On Golden Pond". It just seemed way too random for anyone to comprehend.
-His version of Green Day's "Wake Me Up When September Ends". I felt his satire of the song was out of place, granted the song was written as a memorial to Billy Joe Armstrong's father.
-His guitarist/band leader constantly laughing at his jokes. It was as annoying as having an applause sign.
I'd go see it again if Mr. Brown updated his show a bit, as it seems to be stuck in the 80's-90's. Until then, it's probably a decent choice to bring your folks to, especially if you get free tickets.
