  • This is an Aveda salon which, generally speaking, means you will receive quality service and a quality haircut. (I can't stand Aveda products, but their training seems to be above average and consistent.) I have extremely curly, hard to manage hair so I find it almost impossible to find stylists that can manage my hair. But Aveda stylists seem to be trained to work with curly hair. When I left Civello I wasn't totally impressed with my haircut, but the girl I had did a decent job (sorry, it was last summer and I can't remember her name). I was more happy with the customer service than the cut. The environment is relaxing and nice, and the location is ideal...just a 5 minute walk from Osgoode subway station. Try it out and ask for a senior stylist if your hair is challenging.
