I would NEVER recommend this doctor's office again. It's important for people to know what 90% of us pay for our insurance, and don't want to be treated like a number. I have been going here for years. I can never say my visits were pleasant, but tolerable. You wait forever, yet if your late.. Ding a $25 charge. You don't call within 24 hrs to cancel or reschedule.. Ding a $25 charge. I've had medical issues and I PAY my co-pays and such. I needed to get FMLA paperwork submitted. The doctor's office kept charging and charging me $35 for 1 PAGE, yet for them to get it right was absolutely a challenging part of getting approved. They have a sign on the door that basically indicates that you have 15 minutes to speak with the doctor when it comes to FMLA. Their stuff is not the friendliest. When you called billing that's even joke. My last visit there was not towards to get new FMLA paperwork. It took multiple attempts for them to get it right. Yet I received another bill this weekend indicating that I owe them $30. I called billing and the representative was so rude! She told me that because I put in a complaint during the FMLA process and I got a prescription that's why I was charged for an examination. I guess you can't tell the doctor that things have gotten worse because that's considered an examination and in their eyes a complaint. I'm absolutely done with this doctor's office, and I am just trying to help others be aware that unless you want to have these hidden charges sent to you, I would recommend doing the research and look for another Physician! It's pretty sad that I was asked by the PA how I was feeling, and because I expressed it, HE gave me a new prescription, but did not indicate there would be a charge! My advice is to look at people as people and not #'s! Have some compassion and be more empathetic! I'm sorry people get sick, but that's why YOU ALL HAVE JOBS!
