Do not give Dr. Henry the time of day, it was the worst experience I ever had with a physician. I was referred to him by my primary physician for acne, persistent rash on my legs, a wart that kept reappearing on my hand after it was frozen off, and some odd looking moles. It was easy to make an appointment & the staff was friendly.
At my appointment I was told I didn't have an acne problem & all he could do was give me bars of cetaphil. My primary has been in practice for almost 40 years. The kicker was when Dr. Henry told me my primary was an idiot that didn't know what he was talking about.
I showed him the wart on my left ring finger tip. He agreed to remove it & sprayed a bunch of liquid nitrogen carelessly. He managed to spray it on the sides of each of my fingers which was reckless & painful.
When I attempted to interject about anything, he became agitated & hostile with me. He didn't listen, period.
His solution for my leg rash was basically - don't ever shave your legs again.
Then I was told to come back in 6 weeks for a re-check. The girl at the front desk could tell I was upset as I paid. Refusing to make the followup appointment she said "it's ok he has a lot of openings all the time". I left the office in tears & called my primary to explain what had happened.
I never went back & was sent to another dermatologist. I was very nervous & was upfront with the doctor about my prior bad experience. Without giving Dr. Henry's name, the other physician said he was sorry I had a bad experience with Dr. Henry, and that he got a lot of patients coming into his practice from Dr. Henry with experiences just like mine.
He's a jerk. Stay away & go elsewhere.
