  • This place has gone down hill since I moved in back in August of 2007. While not horrible the new staff that has come with Dwell taking over from Summertree has been horrible. I've always paid my rent at least 3 weeks early and was told the first two months after Dwell took over that since my rent was last I had to pay with a cashiers check. To which I replied while I'm handing in rent on the 10th of the month it's not late as this is the payment for next month. The lady looked befuddled to have a resident pay their rent ahead of time. My main reason for leaving was after some questionable remodel and upgrades they wanted to raise my rent by 50 dollars a month and this apartment is not worth an additional $600/year. However after moving out they sold a debt I apparently owed to a debt collector who confirmed it was unpaid utilities. I called the office and said I'm aware I would get a bill for utilities as they ran a month behind but I cannot pay the balance until I am notified of the amount to pay. So without notifying me of the amount I owed they transferred the balance to a debt collector. Not the kind of treatment I expected after having been a resident who paid my rent early for 5 years. So sadly I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
