This place never disappoints. We made it a date night on a monday night and it was quiet; maybe 1/3 full. It can get loud in there on the weekends, so I did not mind the ambiance. We try new dishes most of the time we go. My boyfriend ordered the dhana dal-curryleaf scallops with saffron scented leek-yukon-pear crème sauce crisp leeks. I would not have thought that a pairing of pears and saffron would be so complimentary with seafood, but it certainly was! I went with the black sesame apricot-chili glazed chicken tikka with coconut orange sauce and shalgam-gajar mash. The chicken was sweet and spicy and the mash seemed to be made of carrots. So good. We ate on all that with a bottle of the Indian wine, Sula; a very summery and refreshing chenin blanc. BONUS!!!! I used my www.restaurant.com certificate that I got for super cheap to save $25 off the meal.
