  • Spending a few days in Vegas but need a break from the strip? Wake up early one morning, have some breakfast, and head out to Red Rock. The drive is easy and quick. The view is wonderful as you approach. It looks like a 3D painting. When you get there, you can enjoy the drive through or better yet, stop and take a hike. I believe there are like 19 different hiking trails. Some easy, some moderate and some difficult. You could spend a full day here hiking or just a couple of hours. The fee for an auto to get in is like $7. Very cheap for the experience.
