  • I hired Michael to appraise a diamond ring I brought on line. Michael was extremely thorough, accurate and professional and very reasonably priced. He must have spent 8 hours on my appraisal and did amazing and extremely accurate work. His knowledge is unsurpassed in my opinion and he was very easy to work with and accommodated my "rush" job. He also responded to several emails I sent him before and after the appraisal was done trying to further help me. I would highly recommend Michael for any diamond appraisal work and might suggest that if you are thinking of buying a diamond you may want to see him first as he can give you some expert tips and tell you things to avoid (I wish I had). In my case, unfortunately Michael identified several flaws and erroneous misstatements in the EGL appraisal on the ring I purchased so I returned it to get my money back. Michael may have saved me as much as $10,000. Thank you Michael!
