  • I live close to one of Charlotte's premier plastic surgery centers, but I would rather drive an hour to PPSD because it's worth it! I have had 2 procedures (tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift) and a tummy tuck revision, so I'm very familiar with Dr. Mantooth and the staff. I'm African American and was astonished to see that a recent reviewer says she experienced racism. I have NEVER experienced anything but utter concern and professionalism in the 2 years that I have been seeing Dr. Mantooth. He's honest, caring, patient (very patient) and works hard to make his clients happy. When I developed scar tissue after my tummy tuck, I was livid. He didn't make any promises.... he made me understand that it could be permanent, but he would try to remove it. Thanks to him, it's gone! I'm completely happy and can't wait to show off my wonderful physique!
