| - This was one of the most crazy experiences I have ever had in Las Vegas for the past 8years.
I came in with a 2015 mini van for a smog test. When I walked in a guy with a angry face was sitting at a desk inside the shop staring at the walls.
Got out the car and after I asked him how much would be for the smog test since no prices were published anywhere ,he the. yelled at me from inside the shop $28 for that thing . It ended that on the paper the machine printed was $22 but anyway let's focus on what exactly happen.
He tells me where to park the car then to go stand on the side of his desk to leave the keys inside the car. After doing so he then quickly starts doing his thing. 1min , again 1min into his job he fails the smog saying the car computer plug is not accesible. I was like What? You gotta be kidding me right? I know it's April Fools but this is not funny at all. The car just came out the dealership service shop aprox 30min ago and they had no problem in connecting their computer to it.
When I go to look at the vehicle he starts to get nervous , he got all red and he quickly became very defensive.
I bend over and look under the steering wheel and the computer plug was hanging. This moron who was obviously in a bad mood when i got there ,didn't know that the plug had a access panel for quick and easy access or more saying for idiots like him ...so when he tried connecting his machine to it without removing the access panel he pushed so hard that the plug head came of is clip on brackets and was just hanging. When I tried to push it back he then starts to scream like a crazy psycho that I'm not aloud to perform mechanical repairs in his shop. I was like ok , i then tried to proceed to pull out the shop so i can push back in the plug that he clearly messed up. When he seen what i was about to do he actually stood behind the van and start yelling "are you gonna hit me? You can't move the car without paying " . I was like ,ok so I get out the car and go to his desk and tried paying him but while I was going towards his desk to pay he was actually walking way from it towards a wall.He had no intentions of coming to get the payment he was standing by a wall yelling and explaining to himself i guess what kind of inspector licence he has and he was mocking me for having the balls of disputing his decision. He was saying all kind of weird things and laughing right after. Complete insanity.
I then proceed to asking for his supervisor or owner contact number. At first he said they don't have numbers only emails but when I look at the wall that he was looking while talking to himself i seen a general manger name and number. So i went outside and went ahead and called the guy. Let me tell you people , that was the biggest waste of time of my life. The GM is another moron just like him, saying that's my best guy, if he says something is right , what do i want him to do, blah blah blah. Let's just say his manager skills were zero to nothing. He had no saying into the circus his employee was making at his place at work. I guess this is normal to them.
I then decided to find out who is in charge of this bullies. I found out there is a Emission Dept who actually controls and licence this idiots. I called them right away , they said leave the shop and head this way immediately and we will handle them. Guess what? When the worker seen me calling all this people he starts recording me and acting like he was actually scared.
He starts running in the shop from me when i was going towards him with a card to pay the bills who btw he threw in my car . He didn't even had the decency to bend hand them to me.
There was no way in the world this guy is not on drugs or alcohol. Seeing me walking towards him he was yelling "leave me alone, take off, I don't need your money anymore I will call the cops. Smart right ? " . Well let me tell something ...not that smart because i was recording the whole time since minute 3 when he started to become aggressive and weird.
Long story short , he refuses to take a payment so I take off and go to the dmv VIN guys to ask them what should I do. Turns that I was not the only one to have something similar with this shop , I was actually the second of the day and apparently they hear about this shop service adventures every week. Then they proceed to tell to go across the street to another SMOG place who actually passed the car in 1min. Go figure.
I hope the ownership will see this review , check the cameras/recordings and see the circus this two run on their money.
