We just came to try this new place. I love boba! Always have always will ;) I must always try the new places esp with them popping up like crazy in the past few months. Anyway boyfriend and I decided to try this new place instead of stopping at our usual Kung fu or tea space before work. Ordered classic jasmine milk tea and oolong milk tea to test the sweaters. It was early so honey boba wasn't ready for another 4 mins. As we waited, we looked around at the cute decor. Loved the home feel of it all. Then the girl came and told us the boba won't be ready for another 10 mins. Recommended that we order another topping instead of waiting; we tried the crystal boba. She said it was the same except transparent. Finally, drinks come. 100% disappointment. I don't even know what it was but it did not taste like milk tea at all. I couldn't even taste the tea at all; just a slightly flavored cream. Crystal boba was definitely not the same as regular boba either. Had a weird flavor and texture.
So disappointing. I would be able to forgive the m cashiers lack of customer service and lack of care if the drinks were tasty. But they were not even a little tasty. They do not hold a candle to any of the other tea places around town. You name it, I've been to it all. If I ordered something weird and didn't like it, I wouldn't be writing this review. There was no body else there, so if the cashier cared more and offered adjustments (like all the places in town) then I wouldn't be writing this review. But man you're killing my love for boba!
Decor was cute. Location was meh. Signage not visible.
