I went in with a very sharp abdominal pain. They were super fast in getting me into a room. I had to wait like 2 to 3 hours until a DOCTOR came in and see me, it was not a nurse it was a DOCTOR. I really liked that. I told her that I had gallstones so she order a ultrasound. They took me to the ultrasound shortly after she left. I didn't have to wait more than 30 minutes or so until she came in with the results. She told me I had to do surgery immediately because so many stones were blocking the tube and that could cause a serious infection. She then send the surgeons so they could talk to me. They gave me the option of choosing weather to do the surgery the next day or book an appointment, I was going to choose to book an appointment because I did not wanted to stay the night at the hospital,But then they came in again and told me that I should not put myself at risk and do the surgery the next day. They knew I was super scared and explain to me everything in deep, they made me feel calm about it. The next day a lot of people came in and talk to me. When It was time to do the surgery , I saw the anesthesiologist and then all his crew all of them explain what was going to happen then the surgeon came and talk to me one more time and explain to me again. Due to my anxiety they put something to calm me through my IV after that I do not remember anything. After the surgery My heart was acting really crazy If i did a little move it would raise to 145 bpm or higher, they send in cardiologist to do some test on my, turns our everything was fine I just had anxiety of being there plus the anesthesia. I am very thankful to this hospital. It is the best one I have ever been in.
