  • SERVICE RECOVERY UPDATE (2 days after my initial encounter with this business): after finally speaking with the manager to get my nails fixed. She put me on the schedule late in the day when it was convenient for my schedule. The staff was very gracious and redid my manicure. They even did the original design that I wanted. Holly was very meticulous and sweet. I'm changing my initial rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Hoping my first encounter was a fluke. INITIAL ENCOUNTER: I have to say, I'm a pretty disappointed with the place. My mom and I went on Saturday, when we walked in no one greeted us so we just signed in. We waited over 30mins and no one bothered to ask what we needed, no one checked the list, or give us a timeframe on the wait. Eventually, we ended up making an appointment for the next day and leaving. We returned the next day a few minutes before our appointment but still ended up having to wait. My mom waited 20mins to be taken back for her pedicure and I ended up waiting 40mins before someone brought me back to for my gel manicure!!! The lady (didn't catch her name) gave me the color samples of the gel polishes that they had, I told her I had a picture of what I wanted. She looked at the picture for 2 seconds and said, "we don't have that color" I explained that it's just clear and gold glitter that is more dense on the tips and fades back. She said fine and proceeded to just give me gold tips. Irritated I said fine and gave up trying to explain. I've had my nails done the way I wanted at another salon so I know how it's supposed to be done. Also she gave me the fastest hand massage I've ever gotten and then told me I was done and walked away! She didn't even have me wash my hands!! This morning after I showered really showed how sloppy her work was. She was so messy with the polish, it was actually on my skin around my nails and started to lift up the polish! I don't think I'll be coming back. If I give them another try, I'll schedule an appointment with one of them techs that is frequently mentioned on the reviews here. UPDATE: I called to speak to a manager about getting my nails fixed since they're gel and should last awhile. The girl who answered said the manager was busy and tried to get me to tell her what I wanted to talk to the manager about. When I told her it was something I'd rather discuss with the manager she said "ok" and just hung up on me. RUDE!
