| - I hate to knock off a star, because the show is really good- high energy, performers are amazing, the actor that plays Jerry Lee Lewis is out of this world, steals the show and keeps your attention. But the venue...holy cow.
I know some reviews said there isn't a bad seat in the house. Unfortunately I think what they meant was "no seat is too far from the stage". If you are an unlucky soul that gets to sit at the table for 6- well....be prepared to watch the entire show with your neck twisted 90 degrees to see the stage. In a company of up to 5 people you may or may not know intimately. In really tight quarters.
I can't complain- I won the tickets and the show didn't cost me a dime aside from two domestic bottled beers from the bar at $7.50/piece plus tip (yikes). But if I paid, I would probably have been much more annoyed with seating arrangement.
Go for either booth or normal style seating and don't wait for cocktail waitress to come around- go get your own stuff at the bar.
They do not allow outside drinks from casino bars, but a guy in front of me walked in just fine with his drink slyly cupped in his hand.
Now the show itself- amazing if you love Elvis, enjoy Johnny Cash and get a kick of Jerry Lee's antics.
Depicting events of December 4th, 1956, the show is a never ending string of hits by those three,
Elvis's "girlfriend" and a guy that apparently sang Blue Suede Shoes before Elvis did.
Acoustics in this venue leave much to be desired, but if you let loose and enjoy songs like Walk the Line, Hound Dog and Great Balls of Fire, you are likely to have a blast.
