| - Like any thrift store, a trip to Goodwill can be as good or bad as you make it. You have to visit often, stay for awhile and be willing to dig.. And dig, and DIG! Get in there, don't be shy!
We all go for the same reason.. To find some sweet new gear at an affordable price. To discover something exciting, even beautiful in something that was rejected. To find that one in a thousand item, that rare find that got overlooked by so many people until you, the knower of true value and awesomeness comes along and rescues it from musty obscurity. It's all bout the hunt, and how much fun you can have in the process.
There's treasure to be found at all goodwill locations, no doubt. But the shops in Las Vegas seem to have more great stuff per location than any other I've seen in the country. Granted, I've only lived in 3 states, but I've made my thrift store rounds and I've gotta say, these are some of the best I've seen.
In just a few months my wardrobe has grown into something I'm proud of. Dozens of slim-fitting designer button-up shirts, some great tees, fancy ties.. All finds at LV Goodwills. Sure, I had to stay regular with my visits, sure I had to be willing to sift through the rubbish, but that's what makes my collection so great.
My book collection has thrived as well. I've adopted tons of classics, vintage and reprinted paperbacks, novels, plays, philosophy, hard to find stuff. I could peruse Goodwills overcrowded shelves for hours and often do.
My wife has nearly decorated our entire place with thrift store finds, and I don't think we could have found such great pieces anywhere really. It's a great place to curate interesting artifacts to liven up your living space.
Don't let us have all the fun though. If you don't have anything to do today, go check out a few thrift stores. Goodwills are pretty dependable, and easy to locate. This location is awesome!
