  • My husband and I ordered takeout over the weekend and we weren't really impressed with the food. We ordered a falafel wrap, a hot dog, a pimento grilled cheese, a side of sweet potato fries and a side of onion rings. The falafel was very bland. It didn't taste like much and they really missed the mark on making what should be such a flavorful dish. Although I didn't eat much of the wrap, I will say that the pickles were a nice twist! The hot dog was fine and the pimento grilled cheese was probably my favorite. (You can't go wrong with lots of tasty cheese!) The sweet potato fries didn't have much flavor either and the onion rings were unbelievably OILY! Our takeout bag was soaked in oil that had spilled from the box that the onion rings were in and there was still a pool of oil sitting in the bottom of the box. They were very soggy and unappetizing! I would be willing to try something else from Pinky's again. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time!
