| - Soooo Cibo's pretty good! Riiiight?
...It's also VERY BUSY -Make Resos.
I have been twice now and both times - very impressed. The ambiance is awesome as its loud (but not too), fun, open, and just inviting without being either pretentious or ovedone. Service has been great both times from seating to table, to everything. The idea is family style sharing of Italian - and who doesn't love sharing or Italian? The menu is great as it has LOTS of choice -starting with the list of small appies (a list of about 15 items) that has everything from a date salad, to ricotta cheese (Flavored), olives, and lots of other nibbles. Then there are more substantial appies such as risotto balls and meatballs (YUM ON BOTH ACCOUNTS). We move then to the freshest pastas I have had in ages which come in pretty decent serving sizes with a variety of yummy sauces (we had gnocchi and tagliatelle with bolognese sauce - both really great and tasty). To go with the sharsies on this they have a variety of meats (fish, pork, beef, etc) that come in two serving sizes. We got the strip loin which was accompanied with a small green salad that surprised with yumminess. The steak was pretty awesome and served four of us with the small order. Also on the menu (which we skipped as I'm trying to avoid "bread") was a long list of deadly looking pizzas. I did see a wild boar bacon pizza on our table that I stole using my mind powers... looked and smell amazing. TO NOTE: if you like/love Sketti (Spaghetti) - the serving for two was basically a monster platter of noodles and meatballs that could feed your family.. just FYI before you order appies and salads and than platter - also serves as lunch for a week if you care:)
As you can tell - all of our food was great. We had a table of 16 and everything came out hot, fresh, timely and delicious. The whole time our water and wine was kept filled (bonus points there).
BEST PART - the bill for four people including the above listed foods and wine and beer was 106$. (so we ran to the car fast...).. no for real, it was really affordable for food that was quite enjoyed. CAN'T GO WRONG!
Highly recommend and I can't wait to go back!
