This is my local pub as I live only a couple of minutes away, walking distance. The wait staff are outgoing and friendly and are great at making suggestions. The restaurant portion of the venue has a standard and daily menu. The food is surprisingly very good, as you would generally expect bar/pub fare to be exactly that. I'd recommend that you try the O' Canada burger, the Chicken Ciabatta Club, and if you're free on a Wednesday, 1/2 price wings with the purchase of a bevy (hard or soft).
There are usually events going on a regular basis, such as Karaoke on Friday nights and Jams on every other Wednesday.
The only complaints I'd make are that the carpeting in pretty old and drab, some of the banquette seats are coming off and some of the chairs are pretty rickety, but the customer experience makes up for that.
Tip your server well!
