  • To start my birthday madness, we planned on beginning at Sutra then venturing through-out college. Unfortunately, the human body has a limit to how many tequila and jager shots one can handle in a night... But regardless of that, I had soo much fun at Sutra, I will be coming back. My only complaint was the music. I was informed by flyer that a different DJ (DJ Triplet) would be djing that night - but of course the night had to consist of Ke$ha, Britney Spears, Avril and Katy Perry (dear god.. so much Katy Perry and Ke$ha it was unbearable).... I went to Sutra thinking that it was Classic Hip Hop night so you can only imagine my disappointment lol.. They did, however, play some hippity hip hop when i requested it but it was from a playlist and Biggie Smalls was remixed to Miley Cyrus I think.. I dont know - I was pretty far gone at this point.. Drinks were at average. Price, quality.. etc. For a tiki bar, they didnt have any mint left for mojitos.. bullshit but whatever. It was still great. Very packed, very intimate, limited space for sitting BUT GEE O' MOLLY WHAT AN AWESOME BACK PATIO!! I fell in love!! Oh and if you love sharwmas - an ali baba's is next door but dont hate me when your stuck w/ that garlic taste in your mouth the next morning.. In conclusion: 4 stars - FUN. If you are visiting Toronto or from Toronto, you must experience Sutra Tiki Bar. They lost a star due to the horrible music and lack of mint.
