| - This store is in the midst of the Chinatown craziness of Spadina Avenue. I haven't been to Spadina in a while, so yesterday's trip down memory lane was long overdue.
Waiting for my good ol' friend who's always late, I had a few minutes to kill. I need more hair product, which I haven't been able to find anywhere. It's a pretty rare tube, and usually they only sell it in specialized stores. Anyhoo, so I saw Toronto Hair Care and figured it was worth a shot.
They have a lot of really need products in there. They are organized by brand, not by use (i.e Shampoo, conditioner, hair spray etc), which can be a good or bad thing. The store is relatively tiny, so I made my way around the store twice, checking for stock. I couldn't find. The man behind the counter looked like he was cleaning up, paid no attention to me. I reckon they don't get a lot of sales.
Other than a pretty good selection of hair care items, they had a selection of flat irons as well as hair accessories. If you're looking for something in particular, like a high end shampoo/conditioner, this is the place. A duo set of S&C can put you back $30 and up. Otherwise, stick to Shoppers and walmart.
