I contacted corporate and was told they would be happy to refund me and make amends. I appreciated the offer but declined the refund, as I was more concerned about the unethical bit more than I was the money. I was promised that they would address the issue with this location. I have been back since and haven't had any further issues (altho I am now paying in cash to avoid this from happening again). I really do like Dutch Bros. coffee, and I'm glad I feel better about frequenting this location again.
