  • This review is long overdue. I have been staying here for work for about two months now and will continue to stay here through what is likely going to be another 10-12 weeks. The people working here? They're incredible. Almost everyone I have interacted with here has been extremely accommodating, friendly, and efficient. Even when I have had issues with my room (normal repairs, nothing out of the ordinary), they have been apologetic and expedient in addressing them. They also accommodate my room requests - I think I've found my favorite! Speaking of rooms, they are so clean! I'm a little OCD, so sharing personal spaces isn't really my favorite thing to do, but I'm always impressed by the level of cleanliness and care that has obviously been taken when cleaning my room. I've been in the suites and regular king rooms, and both are great, but I prefer the suite because I've been spending a lot of time here and in a suite I feel more like I'm in an apartment - it helps to mitigate not being at home weeks at a time. Towels? Fluffy and soft. 10x nicer than even the full service Marriott around the corner. Beds? Soft. Clean. If you pull the sheets up, the mattress is really clean. They really take care of the guest accommodations here. The only thing I wish is that the blankets were a little thicker. In the suites, I have an extra blanket (to go on the sofa bed), and then I'm fine. Workout room? Pretty big, decent treadmills, two air conditioners that blow cold, free earbuds, water machine, towels, free weights. The only downfall is that it doesn't open until 6am and if you have to be to work at 7 or 8, that might be tight after breakfast. It'd help if it were open at 5am with TV restrictions until 6am. Breakfast? Rotating hot items from scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, canadian turkey bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal. Cold items include fruit cocktail, yogurt, apples, bananas, pastries. Decent for a free breakfast. Hear me? Free! No complaining about free breakfast. If you don't like the free breakfast, feel free to walk across the street to Starbucks and buy your $4 yogurt and granola parfait. Yes, right now, the exterior is under construction. It will be over with. The hotel makes this very clear in emails, the website, when you call to make a reservation, everywhere...so if this is something that will bother you, then it's probably a really great idea not to book a room here and then write a bad review about how the construction is loud. Also, you can hear other people sometimes. It's a hotel. So, yeah, you might have that. Just saying. It's a hotel. Anyways, please don't come here and complain about temporary issues that you already know exist. Also, do sign up for the Marriott rewards program. It's worth it if you stay at Marriotts frequently. I'm stockpiling points because we're saving for our honeymoon - ask the front desk if you have questions. Summary? Great hotel. Love it. Really.
