| - Went here because i just want to alter or fold the side of my dress so it doesn't look saggy for my birthday. My dress cost me for only $30 but it was nice.
The Korean lady/owner greeted me and asked me what i want for her to do in my dress. She asked me to fit my dress and show it to her so i did. Showed it to her and kinda showed her i want her to do. She did't agree with me because she said it won't look right. So i was like, ok, up to you. When i reach the counter to pay, she asked me when do i need it? (PS: DON'T FALL FOR THIS TRICK! IF SHE FOUND OUT THAT YOU NEED IT ON THAT CERTAIN DAY, SHE WILL TELL YOU IT WON'T BE READY BY THAT TIME SO YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR "RUSH ALTERATION" WHICH COST YOU EXTRA)
I made sure i said the day that i don't really need it, i gave a few gap just in case she messes it up, i could buy a new dress or fix it somewhere else.
So I was in the counter and asks her how much will it cost me. She told me it will cost me $30. Like wtf? She only needs to fold and sew a small piece of cloth on both side so it doesn't look saggy. I told her that my dress is the same price as what she's asking me for. If that's the thing i'm gonna pay, maybe its better to buy another dress or do it myself instead.
I said that i won't get it done then, and she said "ok up to you" and went in the back of her office/place where she sew things. She's not that polite and i didn't like it.
Anyway, i left that shop and said to myself i'm not gonna come back, i did it myself and its free.
If you guys need some place to get your alteration, i recommend on looking for some place else which offers you decent price for what you're asking for, NOT RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. Or if you can do it alone, or other family to save money, do it.
