The staff was great but the food was overall too rich, salty, and creamy. The quality of ingredients was great - the food was fresh and the pasta was handmade. The bread and olives were fresh and tasty. The food was disappointing when compared to quality Italian food in other cities. We had the meatballs (alright but nothing special), the buckwheat noodles (extremely cheesy, rich, couldn't finish) and the risotto with lamb (yummy lamb cooked flavorfully but the risotto was too salty and rich). Wouldn't come back but for Toronto standards, it seems to be pretty average.
