Recently we dined here. Being a staple of Las Vegas, it seemed only fitting to try it. Also because I love steak. The atmosphere and decor of the place is really cool. It has that old school vegas feel without looking tacky or cheap. The host greeted us right away, and although they were booked, the bar area with tables was open seating. We had the french onion soup and oysters for an appetizer. The soup was delicious. Great flavor. The oysters were a bit small, but fresh and tasty. For dinner I had the Porterhouse and the twice baked potato and the Prime Rib with creamed spinach. Both pieces of meat were cooked perfect; however they had no flavor. They were good cuts of beef, but very bland. I doubt they were even salt or peppered before they were cooked. The au jus for the prime rib was also flavorless. It was like brown water. The beed was very disappointing. The twice baked potato was delicious. The creamed spinach was a touch watery, but had good flavor. Being that it was my first time here, I was not all that impressed by the food. I would try it again, but it may be a while.
