  • Had dinner here the other night with a business colleague. Food was okay but not over the top. It's a typical higher end steakhouse with pedestrian dishes, not very big portions, and served at higher price which is normal for most any and all Las Vegas Resort Casinos. One thing we noticed is outside the restaurant entrance podium they advertise a 3 course meal for $55.00 but once you are seated inside their is no mention of this special anywhere on the menu nor do the servers mention it when being served. When we inquired about it we got the feeling the server was not interested because of his response to us was very vague and his body language just says he wasn't interested. It was pretty funny. Note to Aureole management: Take down that 3 course meal advertisement at the entrance podium if your aren't interested in selling it to your patrons once inside. It kind of comes off as a bait and switch tactic if you get my drift. While the service was okay, the ambiance seems a little dated here (late 1990's early 2000). The wine tower and wine angel is kind of a cool gimmick. The restaurant wasn't that busy and makes one wonder how long they can stay in business for. Charlie Palmer closed his South Coast California location last year and gives me the feeling that he is tired and disinterested in keeping his locations and food updated. Sigh...
