| - I travel 100% of the year! That said, I am at Platinum status with Marriott and on the way to achieve Lifetime Silver this year! I do not believe I have ever had a bad experience with a Residence Inn. Having been to Las Vegas many times, I had never stayed at this location. I tend to shy away from the multi floor hotels as I feel like they do not provide the 'home' feeling that I normally value. I decided to do some out of the box thinking and give this location a try! Not only am I greatly satisfied in my decision, I also had an amazing overall experience! The check in process was seamless, quick, and handled with an overall feeling that everyone was truly glad you are here! Jasmine! Let me tell you about her! An exceptionally knowledgeable team member who knows her job very well! Does it with constant excitement! Has a smile that lights up the room! And the words 'I don't know' will not come from her mouth. If something is a challenge, she will inform you that she may not have the answer but she will look into it and get one as soon as possible. Making my way from the front desk to my room was an easy task as well. Three elevators which are speedy and always clean get you from the first floor to the top level with minimal, if any, wait time. Even with such capacity, the hallways are clean, always quiet, and wide enough for multiple travelers coming/going at the same time. The rooms are clean and spacious. I never heard a single noise from neighboring guests aside or above. I do not enjoy these new AC thermostats that turn off in the night due to lack of motion but you can ask for a fan, or a maintenance guy to override the fan for you. Breakfast was plentiful for the everyday traveler however it did provide a bit of an issue for myself as I am pescatarian. Two types of meats, eggs, oatmeal, waffles, and some other sides but there were no breakfast potatoes and the fruit was limited only to honeydew melon. A bit more effort could be put forth here in my opinion however the majority of those indulging each morning seemed to be very happy. The pool is nicely located with a couple gas grills within easy access for the man grilling for his kids and such. Easy hot dog opportunity for certain! Regarding parking, there is plenty around the building along with a two level, easy access and well lit garage. I travel with a service animal therefore usually looking for a location that has ample space outside for walking. The hotel is very pet friendly and has plenty of grassy areas around that are safe for walking at all times of the day, or night. Several evenings of the week include a managers social providing drinks and various foods that change daily. The hotel is within easy access of pharmacies, grocery stores, events, casinos, Red Rock, and other various activities and events.
Remember that 'residence' is defined as a persons home, or place where they live. This location redefines Residence placing you at the center of the definition.
