  • Everyone who works for this family owned company is very nice and treats me like a value customer and the quality of the shutters is great. But assembling and installing got me a little upset. The following is the copy and paste of the conversation that I had with the salesman Trevor: Me: "ok. and one more thing. I need your best guys come and install. I don't have time for poor craftsmanship. our cabinets were done poorly and the guys came 3 times and only got worse and worse. I have no time for them to come the 4th time so I took them off and glued them. so please promise me your guys can get the job done correctly the first time. sorry I had to say that. it's frustrating and sorry to bother you on this beautiful Sunday evening." Trevor: "(1/2) No problem. Our guys are all certified installers. Some of the (2/2) best shutter technicians you can get" With his assurance, I decided to let Shutters4less do my 9 windows. The installer came with a young man and a boy around 6pm which was about an hour late. He started assembling the shutters outside. Later, I found out the young man is in training and a part of the family and the boy is the installer's son. Nothing wrong with "bring kid to work day", But it got me a little worried because he let his son help and handle the shutters. My wife and I found out the frame to the kitchen window had cracks on it and pieces fell off. I showed my concern and Manny, the installer, said no problem. he used his caulking gun and glued the pieces back and said "you have life time warranty , if any problem call the office." well, I spent 4 figures to have brand new shutters and I don't want cracks. He insisted it was ok and installed it. I was quite busy that evening with work and I was gonna tell him not to installed it but when I finished talking on the phone, I was too late. After they left, my wife started cleaning and found another piece fell off from the kitchen shutter. so the next day, I called and talked to Ricardo. He was super nice and went ahead ordered another frame for me. Manny came again and took the frame off and said he was professional and the shutter was perfect. I showed the piece that fell off and tried to let him know that it was not perfect. After he took the frame off the wall, the wall was damaged. well, I knew more or less it would happen but it was more not less. I asked him whether or not it was possible to fix that, but he said it was gonna be behind the shutter and no one would see it. again, he used his caulking gun to conceal it. but knowing the fact that my house is new and I have to fix it out of my own pocket when I am selling my house bothers me a whole lot.
