Produce is DISGUSTING. They ask you to pay for rotting vegetables, but hey on the bright side, you're getting a lot of complementary mould with your packaged berries. I once told the staff of the mushy 'organic carrots' and if they could replace them with fresh ones. I was told they would get around to it next week- how will my guinea pigs ever understand?
The one positive aspect is that the cashiers are all very nice. If they notice you have a bike helmet, they will equally weight bag your items so you wont fall into traffic from an unequal weight distribution of food on your handle bars.
Security guard at night will always stalk young customers through the store which is uncomfortable and prejudice.
If you need a sick day, by all means buy some food from Metro to grant yourself a good week off of work, otherwise theres a Sobeys west on Bloor, or just skip dinner
