| - Great cozy little Christmas tree farm in a central location. In the past I had always gone to Medina with my family to get Christmas trees, but this year since I was getting my first Christmas tree on my own, I decided to try out a new place.
Now normally picking out the Christmas tree is a drawn out affair and ends up with myself and all of my siblings shivering with frostbitten toes, and my stepdad insisting that the one we picked has bald spots. That being said, my approach to Christmas tree shopping is "get in, get out"... and this place satisfied exactly that.
From the moment I came in, I felt welcomed by the staff as they asked us if we had any questions or needed help finding something. The "chop your own" option closes a little earlier at 5, but my lazy self was perfectly happy with the pre-cut option. They actually had them corralled by size/type/height, which is really convenient if you already have an idea of what you want.
Like most Christmas tree farms, they offer free needle shaking and tree wrapping. The staff even loaded it in my car for me, and I was pleased to find they offered free popcorn and hot beverages inside where the checkout is. I paid about $55 for a 5 foot tree, which I think is pretty reasonable compared to other places. Note that there is a small fee for credit cards, so bring cash if you have it!
I would encourage others to come here for sure, from start to finish the process took only about 20 minutes.... it's much better than standing in line at Wal-Mart with your fake tree!
